Like Mother. Like Daughter.

Nicki woke up out of her sleep to a loud banging noise. She tried to ignore it but it got louder. She looked over at her clock which read 6:30a.m. She looked down at Allianna sleeping in her lap. Both of them fell asleep in the chair. Nicki sat up, changing her sitting position.
"OPEN THIS DAMN DOOR!" She heard a all too fimilar voice yell. Nicki got up from the chair, lifting Allianna with her. She had a small cramp in her neck. It was hurting so she put Alli's weight on her right arm, as she put her left hand on her neck and moved it in a circle. Nicki walked out of her bedroom toward the stairs, when she stopped in her tracks. The house was freezing, and Alli only had on a diaper, that needed to be changed. Nicki turned around and turned the A.C. down. Then she walked into Alli's room.
Candi & Lauren was standing on the porch.
"Candi, She isnt answering the door. Let's go." Lauren said holding De'Andre. Candi looked around the porch with a curious look.
"You know what.... I'm leaving." Lauren stated walking away.
"Wait, I got it!" Candi yelled lifting up the pink flower pot. She picked up the little key.
"Bingo! C'mon Lauren"
"You do know Nicki has that alarm system. You have to put the code in as soon as you open the door. You dont know the code."
"Nigga it's 070484."
"How do you know that?"
"Because Safaree had it installed. He used his birthday. 07/04/84."
"That's so simple."
"Well you didnt catch it!" Candi said laughing. "Hold my godson up & let's go in." Candi said putting the key in and turning it.
Nicki was in her bathroom giving Alli a bath, when she heard the automatic lady's voice from the alarm go off. She picked Alli up out of her bath seat. Nicki walked over to the closet and got a yellow towel and wrapped it around Alli.
"I dont want Mama's baby to be cold." Alli started cooing, and out her little face in Nicki's neck.
"Who's Mama's baby? Who's Mama's baby bear?" Nicki laughed walking out of the bathroom. She walked over to the dresser, and got the Johnson- Johnson's Coco Butter Lotion.
She held Allianna as she reached in the drawer pulling out a pink shirt that said "Onika's Princess" & a pair of white little shorts with pink butterflies on the leg. Nicki walked over to the bed and put everything down. She heard light foot steps in the hallway.
"Lauren put De'Andre in the guest bedroom, and tell Candi to get out of my fridge. We are going out for breakfast!" Nicki yelled as she rubbed the lotion on Allianna.
"Okay Nic." Lauren yelled back. Nicki reached over and got a diaper out of her pile she kept in her room. She put it on Alli, and then put the shorts on her. Nicki layed her down.
"Don't move baby. I got to get your little earrings." Nicki got up and got the 16 carat star studs. She walked back to the and picked Alli up. She sat her on her lap and put on earring in. Then she turned Alli to put in the other one. It must've hurt a little because when Nicki put it through Alli squeezed her right boob.
"HEY! That hurt." Alli looked up at Nicki and laughed.
"Oh you think it's funny....It's funny...It's funny baby girl?" Nicki asked tickling Alli. Candi walked in the room.
"Sorry to break up yall little happy moment but Umm.... I'm hungry." Nicki got up from the bed holding Alli. She walked over to Candi and gave her the baby.
"Finish getting her dressed while I get my shower." Nicki said walking into the bathroom, and shut the door. Candi walked over to the bed, when the bathroom door opened.
"And if you ever ruin another mother-daughter moment.... I WILL kill you." With that being said Nicki shut the door. Candi looked down at Alli. She looked up at Candi and nodded her little head slowly, then flicked her little nails.
"Like mother. Like daughter." Candi mumbled.
"YA DANG SKIPPY!" Nicki yelled from the bathroom. Little Allianna laughed a soft chuckle.
